FAQs

Q. Can I email my job to you?
A. Yes. We gladly accept emailed files. Just be sure to include contact information in your email so we can reach you if we have any questions. When your email reaches our system, you will receive an automatic response confirming that we have received your email. If for some reason you don’t receive this message within about 20 minutes, either try resending, or call the Quik Print center you were trying to reach. You can also send us a file through our website.

Q. What is the minimum quantity I can order?
A. One. We have a wide array of equipment designed to meet all of your needs, from one copy to several thousand.

Q. How do I take advantage of your free pick-up and delivery?

Q. I am not very familiar with the printing process, how do I know what type of paper, size, colors, etc. is best for my job?
A. Our professionals can assist you in every step of the printing process. Each job has different requirements based on your objectives. If it is a marketing brochure, you may want to consider full color on a nice glossy paper. If you need a few flyers for a church event, black and white copies might work. When you need some professional advice, or want to see our selection of papers, visit one of our locations, call us, or email us. We’d love to help you in any way we can.

Q. What is the biggest size copy you can make?
A. Up to 60” wide to any length. Our oversize copiers are fully digital, so bring in your electronic files for increased quality.

Q. Are corporate accounts available?
A. Yes. Companies and organizations wishing to set up a corporate account can fill out our short application or contact one of our Quik Print centers. Customers who do not have a corporate account may pay for their job with check, cash or credit card.

Q. Can you print on my paper if I bring it to you?
A. Yes. We can print on your paper, provided it is at least 3.5” x 5”. When supplying paper for us to print on, be sure to increase the number of sheets you provide by about 10 – 15 percent to account for spoilage during the printing process.

Q. I have a printing job I must have today. Is there any chance I can get it that quickly, or is it a lost cause?
A. Yes, you can get your printing that quickly. We specialize in tight deadline, rush situations. We understand that there are times when you need projects produced very quickly. That’s why we’re in business. Contact one of our Quik Print centers and tell them you have a “hot rush”. We’re on it.

Q. My boss wants me to design a direct mail piece. I have no idea where to begin and what the post office needs. Can you help with this?
A. Direct mail is a very effective marketing tool. Our professionals can help you design the artwork, size, colors, quantities and paper to maximize the value of your piece. We can even acquire a mailing list, address your pieces, and take them to the post office.

Q. Can I place an order online?
A. Yes. Click here.

Q. Do you print business cards?
A. Yes. We have a wide variety of business card selections. We can print your business cards in black and white, Pantone colors, full-color and with thermography (raised printing). We do other types of printing as well. From brochures to envelopes, direct mail to training manuals, we are your single source for printing and copying.

Q. Why does the color on my proof not match my Pantone color?
A. Pantone ink colors are achieved by mixing designated inks together (similar to paint). Your proof is printed with a different process using a digital color machine. These proofs are designed to check for spelling, information correctness, size and placement; not exact color matching. Color matching can only be done with a Pantone swatch book.

Q. I have seen you advertise “free pick-up and delivery”. Is there a minimum order for this, and can you pick it up from my house?
A. There is no minimum order to take advantage of our free pick-up and delivery service. Free pick-up and delivery is available only for businesses in the Tulsa metro area.

Q. Do you charge extra for rush jobs?
A. No. We have no extra charges for rush jobs. In order to meet your time deadlines, some jobs may have to be produced using a different process, which could alter the price. We will always inform you of these differences prior to starting your project.

Q. Do you show proofs?
A. Yes. Any time you order printing from us, we ask that you review a proof before we produce your job. This gives you peace of mind knowing that your job will be produced correctly. Depending on the type of job, we can show you a proof in a variety of different ways: by email, fax or hardcopy.

Q. Do you produce your own printing, or outsource it?
A. Yes, we do our own printing. We have the full line of equipment necessary to handle all of your offset printing and copying needs. From black & white flyers to full-color brochures, we’re on it. If for some reason you are requesting an item that we cannot produce ourselves (such as pocket folders or custom die cutting), we have alliances set up with local companies to ensure you receive the quality and service you deserve.

Q. How long does it usually take to have a job printed?
A. Depending on the job, we can normally complete any project by your deadline. Most can even be printed the same day. For more specific answers, we will need a bit more information from you. Contact any Quik Print location, and we will do what it takes to hit your deadline.

Q. I have heard a lot about digital printing. Which is better, digital or traditional offset printing, and how do I know which one to choose?
A. At Quik Print, we have the unique ability to offer both services. There are many advantages to both types of printing, and we will ensure your job is produced in the most efficient manner possible based on your needs.

Q. How much do you charge for copies?
A. Black & white copies start at 12¢ each for 8.5″ x 11″ on white 20# copy paper. Color copies start at 59¢ each for 8.5″ x 11″ on white 24# laser copy paper. The price per copy decreases with volume for both black & white and color copies. Contact us today for a volume-discounted quote.

Q. I just received a quote from another printing company and they are quoting me a 10% over/under charge. What does that mean, and do you have similar charges?
A. While 10% over/under charges may be common in the printing industry, we do NOT use them. They allow the printing company to deliver anywhere from 10% under the quantity you ordered to 10% over the quantity you ordered, and charge you accordingly. Chances are your job will either cost more than you expected, or you won’t receive the quantity you need. In either event, you can see why this practice does not meet our exacting standards of service.

Q. Where are your price breaks?
A. We have no set price breaks. As a general rule of thumb, with every 100 extra you order, your per piece price will be less. The more you get, the less you pay.

Q. I did not see my question listed above.
